Servus aus Wien! Greetings from Vienna, dear travelers!

I am Alexander – a professional licensed tour guide in Vienna, Austria. So much for my
professional credentials:) If you are looking for a good value added experience which is also

Why Vienna?
As a capital city of an old European Empire Vienna has it all: elegant palaces, expansive sprawling gardens,old churches, fine places to dine out and have a cup of coffee in a distinctly relaxed Viennese way.

The Austrian main city also holds a very special place in the hearts of music fans due to the variety of well established and world famous musical sites and monuments, being associated with the names of Mozart, Strauss and Beethoven.

Vienna is also one of the greenest cities worldwide – approximately 50 percent of the municipal territory is taken in by gardens, parks and even bird sanctuaries which are fun to explore. The Viennese are also privileged to have this green belt around the town called the Vienna woods.

The vineyards cover the rolling hills around Vienna providing lots of good white wine to the tables of the local restaurants and wine taverns. The fact that they have produced high quality wine here for 2000 years comes by surprise to a lot of visitors.

As you can see Vienna has a lot to offer and I have just pointed out some highlights. In order to get the most of your stay in Vienna you might want to have someone to show you around.

Why me? As an experienced tour guide for independent tourists and companies ( Grand Circle, Viking, AMA River Cruises) I have led travelers and tourists for quite a while by now. The tours are informative since I second the philosophy of ''sharing is caring'', providing my clients with historical background, funny trivia and a lot of useful practical information in a casual but respectful way.
