Basic tours.
Vienna is a compact and walkable city .The bulk of the main sights is within easy reach, a stones' throw, really. The thing is there is a whole lot of them sights and you might want to put them in logical order.
During the tour we will touch upon the general and historical background of Vienna,
we will talk culture and music; get practical about things palatable like schnitzels,
wine and coffee and get oriented in general.
As far as I know my travelers, most are keen on exploring the real life of today's Austria. Insomuch as I am concerned I love sharing interesting trivia and insights about the Austrian politics, the welfare state, livings standards, quality of life, real estate related issues and so on. This information is embedded in the general tour and is easy on the ear. We are not going to crunch numbers and dates, but to thoughtfully explore and to get the general understanding how intimately history and the real life are interconnected.
Walking tour in the downtown historical part of Vienna - 2 hours/ from 190 euros.
Walking is arguably the best way to explore the historical core of the elegant Austrian capital.
Noble palaces, coffeehouses, mansions of the moneyed people, venerable music institutions and fine old churches create this unique blend which makes Vienna the pinnacle of every Eurotrip.
For the best Vienna experience you might want to lend me your ears for a 2 hours city walk, which will make history tangible and will not lack the practicalities or the ''life behind the scene'' information. Good mood is included, of course.
During our tour we are going to see the following sights:
– The Hofburg Winter Imperial Palace.
– The world famous Spanish Riding School.
– The classy Opera House.
– The hoary St. Stephans Church.
– The Imperial Crypt – the resting place of the former royalty.
– Famous coffeehouses.
– The Black Plague Column.
– and a lot more.
The idea of the tour is to see and discover something new and to have fun. I am not going to
overburden you with gratuitous facts and data, but will try to add some value to your stay in the great old city of Vienna.
Car tour– 3 hrs/ from 470 euros.
